Equipment Maintenance Guidelines
Professional care procedures for optimal equipment performance and longevity
Tank Surface Protection
- Regularly clean the surface of the tank to remove dust, oil, and corrosive deposits, keeping the appearance clean and dry.
- If rust, scratches, or coating damage are found, promptly grind and remove the rust, and apply a suitable anti-corrosion coating evenly to form an effective protective barrier.
- Avoid direct contact between the tank surface and sharp objects or rough surfaces to prevent coating damage and corrosion, ensuring the surface protective layer remains intact.
Internal Media Control
- The stored media must meet the tank material compatibility requirements; avoid using highly corrosive media.
- Regularly empty the tank of residual media and thoroughly clean internal deposits and impurities to prevent long-term adhesion and internal wall corrosion.
- After cleaning, ensure the tank is completely dry to prevent moisture from reacting with the media.
- Do not mix different types of media that may cause corrosion.
Storage Environment
- When placing or using the tank, choose a dry, well-ventilated, flat, and firm location, away from damp areas and corrosive gases or liquids.
- Avoid prolonged exposure of the tank to direct sunlight and rain; take shading and moisture-proof measures to mitigate the corrosive effects of environmental factors.
- Keep away from areas containing corrosive substances such as acids and alkalis to prevent contact corrosion and ensure the surrounding environment is free of corrosion hazards.
Regular Inspection & Maintenance
- Regularly inspect the condition of the anti-corrosion coating, checking for peeling, cracks, etc., and promptly repair any damage by recoating.
- Inspect welds, joints, and other easily corroded areas. Address any rust immediately to prevent further corrosion.
- Regularly inspect sealing components to ensure they are intact and prevent moisture and impurities from entering and causing internal corrosion.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records to create a complete maintenance loop.
