The gasket replacement interval should be determined based on the operating environment.
If a mobile fuel tank is exposed to high temperatures, humidity, or corrosive gases for extended periods, the gaskets will age faster due to constant exposure to external factors. In this case, the replacement interval should be shortened.
When used in a dry, stable environment, the gaskets wear more slowly, and the replacement interval can be extended.

Material Differences
Gaskets of different materials have different replacement frequencies.
Rubber gaskets are prone to hardening and cracking due to oxidation and require prompt inspection and replacement after a period of use.
Metal or composite gaskets, on the other hand, are more resistant to aging and, if there is no obvious damage, the replacement interval can be relaxed. A reasonable replacement schedule should be developed based on the specific material characteristics of the gaskets.

Cleaning the gasket surface from oil and impurities after each use to prevent prolonged contact with corrosive substances can extend the gasket's service life.
On the other hand, improper maintenance, accumulation of dirt or mechanical damage on the gasket surface, can accelerate its failure and require earlier replacement. The actual condition of the gasket is key to determining when to replace it.
Important Note: Regularly inspect the gasket for signs of deformation, cracks, hardening, or decreased elasticity. If it loses its seal and shows signs of fuel leakage, it should be replaced immediately, regardless of age. Furthermore, when overhauling the fuel tank or replacing related components, it is recommended to inspect the gasket and, if necessary, replace it to ensure reliable sealing performance.
